Memories of My Mother
My Mom has always been my hero, I've always looked up to her. She's a very strong women, especially to have raised 5 girls, and is still raising the remaining 3 girls at home. She was my Mother, my Teacher, and my Friend every time I needed her and still is.When you actually "grow up" or have a family and children of your own I believe that is when you truly learn to appreciate all that your Mother has done for you, how she's always been there, even if through those rebellious days you didn't want her around.
She never rebelled on me, she was always there, as she still is now. If I need someone to talk to, she's usually the first person on my list and she's the first person who's advice I take to heart and trust even more than my own.
I pray I have many more years down the road by the grace of God with my Mother in my life. She's made such an impact in mine as she will in the lives of her other daughters and even her grandchildren!
I get to have the pleasure of finally mothering a daughter in September and I want her to have the same amount of respect I have for my Mother when I'm older. :) But I want to make sure I'm always there for my daughter no matter what the circumstances are, because being a Mother truly is a blessing!
